Football News

Join celebrated football pundit, author, radio show host and DJ Andy Brassell every Monday on the Soccerlens Show.

With the World Cup 2010 draw happening on Friday, there was only one thing we could possibly cover in today’s show. With due respect to the Christian Fuchs-induced Babbel dismissal in Germany, the handbags and fireworks in Italy, red cards in Spain and two missed penalties in England, today we look solely at the World Cup.

32 teams, 8 groups and a large number of possible permutations – in this week’s episode, Andy takes us through the group stages of the World Cup group by group and gives us the most likely scenario on who will progress to the knockout stages.

After you watch the show, feel free to check out the full list of 2010 World Cup fixtures and make your predictions below in the comments.
